“Бата беру (Bata beru)” in “Тинейджер (Teenager)” club

The act getting acquainted with the tradition of “Бата беру (Bata beru)” and a contest for young artists “Самой лучшей на свете (For the best in the world)”11ф

On March 5, the modelling library of Kachar village (branch office no. 11) organized the presentation of tradition of “Бата беру (Bats beru)” and the contest for young artists “Самой лучшей на свете (For the best in the world)” in the “Тинейджер (Teenager)” club devoted to the Day of Gratitude (День благодарности (March 1), the Day of traditional ethnic games and customs of Kazakhstan (March 5), the International Women’s Day (March 8).

The aims of the arrangement were:11ф2

– to introduce teens new holidays in the calendar of Kazakhstan, such as the Day of Gratitude and the Day of traditional ethnic games and customs of Kazakhstan, signed by the Decree of the President in 2016;

– to increase respect for the customs and traditions of Kazakh people and interest in folk games of peoples living in Kazakhstan;

– to teach feeling of gratitude to the dearest person – mother.

“Remember and be proud of your motherland’s history” was one the main messages and topics in conversation with teens, during which they  got acquainted with Kazakh national custom of blessing “Бата беру (Bata beru)”.

Esbatorov Duman introduced the “бата (bata)”, which is read in his family over the dastarkhan.

Later, it was told about national games of peoples living in Kazakhstan.

 

Teens recollected their favorite games, and after that they played Russian national game “Жмурки (Dead Man’s Bluff)”, Kazakh national game – “Состязание (Competition)”, Belarusian national game – “Потяг (Potyag)” and others.11ф3

An the end of the day the participants were suggested to take part in the art contest and paint some holiday cards for their mothers.

There were 29 people.
